Recruit is a set of Perl scripts to support academic recruiting/hiring committees. Recruit enables a department's search committee to easily accept, manage, review and annotate job applications on the Web.

Something I wrote when my brothers were twelve to introduce them to programming. It tries to be very simple--just enough so kids can start tinkering. Active developers might consider showing this resource to people they want to introduce to the pleasures and joys of tinkering with Perl.
